The History of R Squared Restoration & Remodeling

R Squared Restoration & Remodeling was founded in 2022 by Ethan Rafferty with the help of his father Colin. We are a local restoration and remodeling company that is proud to serve the Metro Atlanta community in East Cobb County, Sandy Plains County, Cherokee County, Cobb County, and Gwinnett County.


Colin is an award-winning contractor and has worked in almost every trade for the better part of the last 20 years. Colin carries certifications ranging from OSHA 30-hour certification all the way to mold remediation certification.


Ethan (Colin’s son) has been helping at job sites since his early teens. Since returning from college, he quickly came to realize what he really enjoys is making a difference in our community.


Since beginning this business, we’ve found that we truly enjoy the small, more personal jobs. Being homeowners ourselves helps us to understand how quickly home repairs can stack up. We take joy in knowing that we can help each one of our customers with these repairs, no matter how big or small.
